Amazing Nonfiction Texts Written by Astor Students

Astor has been focusing on nonfiction texts. The Primary 3, 4 and 5 children were tasked to choose a topic that matched their IPC unit 'Land, Sea and Sky' to research, plan and write a description of a nonfiction piece.
After choosing their topic, they created a mind map of their research, using keywords and phrases. Once their research was complete they had to write an introduction, 3 or more body paragraphs and a conclusion. Students were provided with the list of sources to read and assimilate information in their writing. Take a look at their amazing work!
